Favorite Books, Writers, Genres: Anything in print--I usually am reading two or three books at a time, Currently, Diana Gabaldon, Terry Pratchett, Mercedes Lackey, Carol O'Connell, Faye Peterson, Jeffrey Deaver, P.G. Wodehouse, M.C. Beaton, Ellis Peters...as I stated above, almost anything in print. Favorite Movies, Actors, Genres: Gone with the Wind, hands down. Scarlett displays a certain strength in ways that the societal rules of the time did not allow, while Melanie was equally strong within the rules....but I digress. Favorite TV Shows, Actors: Heroes. The West Wing. My Name is Earl. NOT 30 Rock, but the other one that was cancelled, the name escapes me at the moment. The TV tends to get set on one channel for background noise when I'm home and these are the ones that caught my attention... Interests and Activities: Writing my novel, tripping over my cats, cooking...., At present: Dividing numerous peace lilies, carving/decorating gourds into odd shapes, cooking without a recipe Affiliations Political Affiliation: Would like to be Independent but that party doesn't make the ticket in MS Religious Affiliation: Christian--but between denominations at present Employers: A daycare, a veterinarian, a major department store (men's sportswear merchandising office, corporate special events), an engineering firm Colleges: Millsaps College, Belhaven College Major: Psychology High Schools: Murrah High School Other Affiliations: Only the battlescars that life inflicts on everyone at one time or another.
